Introducing Phone-a-Friend!

Do you or someone you know want to be more socially active but have difficulty leaving your home and attending activities?

Check out our new Phone-a-Friend Program.

Who can participate? – Individuals 60 and better, who face challenges leaving their home.

What is it? – A great way for people to meet on the phone and discuss a variety of topics.

How long is the call? – Once a week for about 45 minutes.

How can I participate? – The process is simple. You’ll use your phone to join a conference call at a prearranged time and day. A trained facilitator will moderate the conversation and the groups will be relatively small so everyone gets a chance to be heard.

Is there a fee? – There is no cost for this service.

For more information or to register for the Phone-a-Friend Program, call Sarah Haggerty, Capitol Hill Care Link Program Coordinator at 303.951.5228 or email shaggerty@glbtcolorado.org.
